So finally got around to reading a book that was lent to me by a co-worker, called Getting Real; The smarter, faster, easier way to build a successful web applcation (linked for anyone that’s intrested). While it was a much quicker read then what I expected, having finished it in less time then it takes to do a load of wash, I found it to be informative. Specifically to keep things down to what is needed, to not get bogged down on miniscuele details, and realize that less is more. Kind of reminds me of another famous saying that’s out there.

Overall a decent read, but I’d wait for it to hit the used book shelves myself, mainly due to price. What is it about any book that is anything close to IT related seems to be a markup to it? Probably the same reason why houses with a waterview label get the same treatment I suppose.
