For the last few weeks I’ve been browsing around Youtube, taking in the new (at least to me) feature of video suggestions, where youtube somehow takes the videos that you view and suggests some others that you mind find interesting. While most of the ones suggested are the useless chaod that seems to infest youtube, there’s a surprising amount of stuff on there that is both good and yet not well known.

For example, I found this tune by JunkieXL thanks to the suggestion service on youtube

Now it doesn’t hurt that I was listening to JunkieXL’s “Beauty Never Fades” when used as part of an EVE trailer earlier in the week, which is probably how it linked the two together, but it’s not the first time that its’ found me some decent tunes that I never knew existed. Honestly I’m not a big fan of electronic tunes (yes I am an apparently typical North American), outside of my old road trips down to Montreal, but JunkieXL is starting to grow on me. This is just another thumbs up for recommending his tunage, and I’m anticipating that I’ll find more diamonds in the rough as the day go on.

And for those interested, the aforementioned “Beauty never fades”, because I cant’ resist pimping what is IMO the thinking person’s RPG.
